Numina Terms of Use
These terms are between you and ByteXio ("we", "us") and cover your use of the Numina app on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
1. The app
Numina is a brain-training game. It is for entertainment and general mental exercise. It is not a medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic product, and nothing in it is medical advice. If you have concerns about memory or cognition, talk to a qualified professional.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Numina on Apple devices that you own or control, under the Apple Media Services Terms. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app or its content.
3. Numina Complete
Numina Complete is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks additional features described in the app. It is sold and delivered by Apple through the App Store. Prices are shown before you buy. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any of your devices from Settings → Restore purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy.
4. Deep Sky and downloadable models
Deep Sky can use on-device language models, including Apple Intelligence and models you may choose to download from Hugging Face. These models are provided by their respective authors under their own licences (for example, the Llama 3.2 Community License and the Qwen licence), which you accept by downloading them. Model output is generated automatically and may occasionally be wrong or odd; puzzle answers and scoring are always decided by Numina's own engine, not by a model.
5. Your data
Numina stores your progress on your device, and optionally in your own iCloud if you turn sync on. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full. You are responsible for keeping your device backed up.
6. Availability
We may update, change, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the app working on current versions of iOS and watchOS, but we do not promise that every feature will work on every device or forever.
7. Disclaimer and liability
Numina is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always available at this address, with the effective date above.
